new, they remain must-know compliance rules for employers:
✅ 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 – Only
fixed-term contracts allowed (up to 3 years). Unlimited contracts abolished.
✅ 𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐲 – Must
be paid within 14 days of the final working day.
✅ 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 –
Termination requires 14 days’ written notice.
✅ 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐬 – Full-time,
part-time, temporary, flexible/remote recognized.
✅ 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 – 60
days (45 fully paid, 15 half pay).
✅ 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 – 5
paid working days for both parents.
✅ 𝐍𝐨𝐧-𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 –
Equal pay and protection against bias.
